A doorway into North Africa and the Middle East
Paul and Zakhile travelled to Egypt to meet and connect with a network of leaders representing nations across the MENA region. They gathered for fellowship and teaching - representing countries including Iran, Chad, Morocco, Sudan and Mauritania.
Last year, Issachar Alliance sensed that a significant doorway was opening into North Africa, which would extend into other nations and into the Middle East. This recent visit marked an important step in seeing our role of supporting these apostles, begin to take place.

During their time together, Paul shared teaching on the Kingdom of God and listened to powerful testimonies from these believers who have paid a high price for their faith. Many have endured persecution, rejection from family, displacement from their homelands and have had very limited access to fellowship with other believers. Their stories of courage and perseverance offered a sobering perspective. In contrast to Western Christianity which often exists in comparative comfort, the reality is that for most around the world, following Jesus carries a far greater cost. Our Western experience is in no way the global norm. In many parts of the world, following Jesus demands everything.
Zakhile who accompanied Paul on the trip, bringing his prophetic and teaching gifts to serve these men and women, reflects on the trip with all who had been praying for this week:
“Hello Friends, I want to say thank you for your prayers – without them, I don’t think we would have achieved what we did. We were so blessed by the hunger for the Word of God and for the Kingdom in this amazing group of people we met – many have faced intense persecution, isolation from their families and have had to flee their countries. Many don’t have access to discipleship, and they are willing to sacrifice everything to follow Jesus.”

We invite you to continue praying over what took place during this significant time in Egypt with us - for the networks and relationships that God has set into motion. We have incredible opportunity to come alongside and support these men and women to assist where we can in strengthening the work taking place in their nations. Please pray for wisdom in how we can serve them in their nations practically and effectively, and for supernatural strength and counsel for these remarkable men and women who are faithfully serving in the 10/40 window.
